It has been a while, and I figure it is best that I do some catching up. It will also allow me to pin on pinterest! Over the past several months when I haven't been posting, I've spent part of the time knitting up some projects. I made yoga socks for my dancer and her friends, socks, mittens, scarves and blankets. I will post the pictures here.
The above are a pair of mittens that I made for my older and younger granddaughters. There was enough wool left over from the larger ones to do this. The socks I made for the older. If you notice the toes of these socks are are in different wool as I either added rows or didn't follow the pattern exactly (right tension and all) and contrary to what I had been told, one ball of wool did not a sock make! My granddaughter liked the funkiness of them though and wore them happily.
Here she is modelling the sock.
Bashful girl, she models the mittens. (above and below)
These are a pair of yoga socks. Nifty little items all my granddaughters friends wanted them. So my dancing granddaughter bought the wool and had me make a few for her dance friends for Christmas!
This is a closer look at the pattern.
Here you can see the split in the heel.
Leg warmers are back in style in the dance community.
Here you have a closer look at the pattern.
Another pair of socks. This time the pattern worked as advertised (or I complied with it, let's not get too picky!)
So this is the first look at the knitting of the past few months. I will post more as I come across the pictures.
